Spree is probably the best existing open source ecommerce webshop so far. It benefits from a clean Ruby on Rails base.

Akretion soon assumed its strategical position for a Spree / OpenERP connector. We are thinking about improving the first connector by Carlos Liebna to leverage some of our reusable technology:

• the OOOR connector to abstract calls to OpenERP from Spree
• our OpenERP base_external_referentials and base_sale_multichannels that we already use for the Magento and OScommerce connectors.
