Akretion’s approach to the OSCommerce / OpenERP connector is not trusting the existing historical dubious OSCommerce connector module because we know who made them and how and heard bad feedback about them. We also consider OSCommerce to be an end of life product so we rather see the OpenERP connection as a migration, possibly toward Magento or Spree.

Because of those considerations, we developed an pure Kettle TerminatOOOR connector that pull the orders/partners/products from OSCommerce and inject them in OpenERP (it doesn’t push the catalog back on OSCommerce currently). But it’s now mature and used in production for our customer Adaptoo In production that TerminatOOOR script is typically able to inject 5000 orders/invoices/picking/partner/addresses/payments in OpenERP in 2h.
