Akretion has been founded in August 2009 by people with proven ERP and IT skills. Main associates are Raphaël Valyi and Renato Lima.
Raphaël Valyi is a French engineer (Centrale Lyon) with a first experience in very large legacy IT projects for large companies: 1 year at Amadeus – airlines GDS. And a second experience with smaller and more aggressive open source and agile IT projects for SMB’s in one of the most dynamic French open source integrator: 3 years at Smile.fr. Raphaël started open source projects back in 2003 and always contributed to several innovating projects since then. With the precious help of Cilene Oliveira, Raphaël founded Akretion LTDA in Sao Paulo in August 2009, a few days after leaving France for Brazil.
Renato Lima has been working with IT and Brazilian ERP’s since 2001. He also holds and ITIL certification and was IT director and responsible for the ERP developments in the Brazilian Skafe SMB company. Soon he was confronted to Totvs/Datasul/custom ERP’s projects leading to a deep ERP and Brazilian fiscal knowledge. Renato looked at OpenERP back in 2006, but it wasn’t mature enough for Skafe by that time. Still, he got interested again in OpenERP in 2008 and mate with Raphaël Valyi in the young Brazilian OpenERP localization project. Renato began working on Akretion projects in fall 2009. In Spring 2010, he left Skafe to become one of the Akretion pillars. Renato is the main contributor of the Brazilian OpenERP localization
Later on, Akretion grew up with fellow Sebastien Beau who came 6 months in 2009 for an OpenERP internship in Rio de Janeiro and teamed with us from France since Spring 2010.
